32' Grandy Flybridge Cruiser, 1948

32' Grandy Flybridge Cruiser, 1948

Pamella was completely restored in 2003,4 and 5. Reframed with double sistered steam bent white oak. Bottom replanked with Florida wet Cypress. New fuel, water and holding tanks. All new wiring, hydraulic steering and electronics. Completely refinished, painted and polished. We launched her in October 2005 at Madison Indiana on the Ohio River. We traveled down the river system to the Gulf of Mexico and our new home in Panama City Fl. After a couple of years cruising around St. Andrews Bay we decided to travel on her again. The gas engine on board used way to much fuel so we worked with a local marine shop and Yanmar to come up with a Diesel engine that would perform as well or better than the 350 C/I crusader that was onboard. The Yanmar was perfect, same speed half the RPM's 6 to 7 times the mileage. We installed a new 3500 KW generater, central air and heat and a solar system. We threw off the dock lines in January 2009 and took her down around Key West, up the Atlantic Seaboard to Montreal Canada, across the Canadian Canals to the Great Lakes, thru the lakes to Chicago and Illinois River to the Great Mississippi River, down the river and back home. A wonderful trip and she is ready to do it again. She sipped fuel all the way and the genset burns 2/10 ths of fuel per hr along with About 8 hrs a day from the solar panel you have constant power. We had a survey completed in 2010 and can be made available by E-mail. I don't know exactly how this will work but we will have to approve of you as much as you approve of the boat. We want someone willing to care and keep her spirit alive. We will make her available for your own survey if desired and do sea trials accordingly.

21' Inboard Launch, 2005

"She is a rugged yet classy looking boat built to last in cold molded fashion by Jesperson, BC in 2005 and then completely overhauled and upgraded by Rockport Marine, ME in 2009. A full cover keeps her clean, a dodger keeps you dry and a trailer makes it easy to get her where you want to cruise.... The compact Beta Marine set on a V-drive makes for more room in the cabin and the fully insulated engine enclosure allows you to take a nap on the two full length bunks even right after a lengthy run..."

13' Hvalsoe 13, 1994 SOLD

13' Hvalsoe 13, 1994

This is a wonderful opportunity to own a spectacular wooden sailboat/rowboat hand-crafted by master boat builder Eric Hvalsoe in Seattle, WA. Very few of these have been made, and to buy one new would likely run more than twice what you can have this one for. I understand that a sister boat to this one resides in a maritime museum in Washington state. The sail is a tanbark gaffe rig on Sitka Spruce spars and Sitka Spruce oars with sewn leathers and bronze oarlocks. The construction is lapstrake Western Red Cedar on White Oak frames with copper clench nail lap fastenings. The Length is 13', beam is 4'6?, making it quite stable. Minimum freeboard/depth is 1'6?. Weight without centerboard and trunk is approximately 130 pounds, and with is approximately 155 pounds. The spritsail is 65 sq. ft. The custom trailer is galvanized marine, with 12? wheels, winch and tongue jack. The cover is a custom made Sunbrella, and it could use some patching, although it is serviceable. Any sail repair place could easily do this. Im sad to let her go, but hope that someone will have all the fun and enjoyment out of this magnificent boat that she was designed to deliver.

FOR SALE 1962 Thompson Sea Lancer 17'2" with original 100 HP Volvo Penta inboard/outboard. Dual axle Tee Nee trailer. Was viewed by collector/enthusiast in 2010 when our family purchased it. Reported on Thompson discussion boards as, "Both boat and engine in extremely good condition. The engine is very CLEAN and no rot or water staining visible." Improvements since purchase in 2010: Replaced lower keel (everything beneath floor inspected and the boat is structurally sound with no rot); oil pan gasket replaced in 2011, no looseness in rod bearings; new battery in 2013; all (LED) trailer lights function as new; replaced roller bunks with 2"x6" bunks; replaced fuel pump; alternator checked out by Fondy in 2013 and in good health; repainted bottom from brown/white to blue/white. We have all original parts including bilge pump, trailer lights, fuel pump (rebuild kit still available from Penta). Will include sturdy boat stands, extra prop, half gallon of leftover bottom paint and original roller bunks. The year 1962 was the only year that Thompson Boat Mfg. Co. had the padded upholstered "eyebrows" on the dashboard. The boat's hull ID H20307 indicates it was the 307th of all boats built in the model years 1962, most likely mid to late December 1961. Serial number 21410. Previous to our purchase, it was owned by one meticulous owner. Both upholstery and canvas top are original and imperfect. Upholstery and weathered canvas top may need to be replaced. Boat is in Neenah, Wisconsin.

Coquina has been sailed continuously every year. She usually winters in the water and is hauled only for maintenance. She's sea kindly - she's not a show boat. She'll sail herself in a steady breeze close hauled with no tiller lashing if her sails are balanced properly. I wooded the hull and mast in 2010 and fresh paint will go on bottom and topsides again this spring (2012.)The deck and cabin need paint. All hardware is the original Merriman bronze, including all winches. She was designed as a MORC (mini ocean racer/ cruiser) by Sparkman & Stephens and she's taken good care of this old sailor. With a little investment she'll sail beautifully for another 50 years.

26' Fay & Bowen, 1912

18'

This 26ft. special wide launch, hull #480 is one of the finest, if not the absolute best example of a restored Fay & Bowen that can be found today. Because this boat was originally a salt water verison, even though it never was in salt water, it was restored to those standards. This means that all the hardware is triple plated brass including the strut, rudder, skeg, prop and exhaust. The original engine was removed long ago and replaced with a 45 hp Grey marine 4 cylinder engine wnich was totally rebuilt. Because of this weight reduction the bow rides a little higher and dryer than with the original motor. Another improvment was the adding of a new aluminum gas tank built to the original shape and size but with baffles and a venting system that cannot be seen because it has been incorperated in with the bilge port. To further enhance the boats safety all the wiring connections have been soldered and grounded to make everything correspond to today's standards. One final addition were stainless steel lifting rings. This enables one to launch or cradle the boat without the use of straps, thus avoiding marring the finish on the sides. These lifting rings can only be seen with the removal of the floor boards so as not to detract from the original look of the boat. It is this attention to detail, from the seventeen coats of varnish to all the screws facing in the same direction that make this boat a great prize to any collection. A truly must see boat. JUST REDUCED!!
