Further Comments

This is a flat bottom river boat designed to float rivers and adapted for fishing. The flat bottom pulls a draft that can float over shallower water than most standard canoes. I bought this boat brand new and used it for five years as a fly fishing guide. I moved to Virgina from Michigan about 7 years ago and have used the boat very little since. A year and a half ago, I did a big overhaul and replaced a lot of the wood trim pieces, reepoxied joints (etc..), and sanded and refinished the entire boat with high quality varnish. This was all done under the guidance and help of a professional woodworker and boatmaker. Turned out very nice (sorry it looks a little dirty in the pictures, but shines up nice!). The boat comes with carpet that is glued to custom made cedar plywood. There are four total pieces that fit along the bottom of the inside of the boat. The carpet is a grey color. There is a seat (attached to matching cherry wood) that matches the seat in the picture, which latches between the two roomy cabinets in the front. There is a third seat that matches the others, attached to custom cedar frame. This seat is for the middle of the boat. There is a built in cherry wood ice box attached to the back of the cabinets. Comes with wooden paddle, two six foot boat poles, anchor, drag chain, floatation devices, and trailer seen in picture. I am selling it because I use it very little these days and want someone to enjoy what I have enjoyed. I have rode in this boat for 8-9 hours a day for many days in a row and never got uncomfortable.
