Further Comments
Specifics-
This beautiful vintage boat's hull is made of 1"cedar wood.
The hull is covered in canvas. It looks like an old time plane.
We measured the center line to be approximately 11'4"
It was built with steam bent ribs and has wishbone construction throughout and 61 half ribs running down the center line of the boat from the rear to right behind the first seat.
I was told that it has a set up for a gravity fed live well in the center of the boat.
We have a pink slip identifying this boat as a 1965 Thompson Bros boat; the pink was issued in 1974.
It appears to be a 1959 Hull with a 1960 Serial number. The front plate on the boat identifies the boat as built by Thompson Bros Boat Mfg Co. Serial #19088, built in Peshtigo, Wi
The back plate reads that this boat is built to accommodate a maximum of 500 pounds and an outboard motor of not more than 6 OBC certified HP under normal operating conditions Specification outboard boating OBC Approved by Club of America.
The hull ID is 90100B
Condition-
At least one of the ribs (next to the first seat) needs to be replaced and the seat bracket in the middle seat is in need of replacement.
There are several rips in the canvas that will need to be repaired or replaced.
