Heart's Desire was built in 1925 by the T.S. Soul yard of Freeport Maine. She was originally commissioned by the Camden Cruising club to cruise and race around Penobscote Bay in Maine. Being a 94 year old vessel she has had many fawning owners and generated quite a reputation on the New England coast. In 1980 the boat was completely restored by Paul Rollin of York Maine. She is very strong and well built boat with a split cabin house allowing for full deck beams at mast partners. OMEGA" is a William Garden designed, custom built ketch of wood construction throughout, having a clipper bow, round bilges to a full keel and transom stern.The decks comprise a foredeck with bowsprit, foc's'le escape hatch and main mast installation. Next aft is the raised cabin superstructure and cockpit and mizzen mast installation. Side decks lead to a small aft deck.
Below decks there is a chain locker in the forepeak followed by the foc's'le with marine toilet forward and enclosed heads to port - to starboard is a stowage locker.…BC…CA…More Info
