I built this canoe from the Gil Gilpatrick book about 20 years ago. After a move and some life changes this boat does not get used near enough and I do not have sufficient space for storage. It is currently in my dry basement and safe but unfortunately needs to go. It paddles like a dream and could easily be used for a touring canoe as it was designed for or as a showpiece or family heirloom. Please make an offer! Upon retirement, he moved to Oxford Md and commissioned LaMouette using many of his own designs. He sailed the bay including single handing LaMouette during hurricane David. We purchased after he passed away and have loved and enjoyed her for over 35 years.
