Further Comments
1962 Chris Craft Constellation (Express) 36' with a 12' beam, only 6 operating on the great lakes just like it. Twin 431 V8 Lincoln engines, both tuned up this year and all work performed by Pier 7 Marina. Most of the work on this boat has been performed by Pier 7 Marina, for the last 20 some years. Both paragon transmissions work great. The starboard side transmision was completly rebuilt in 2005. She holds a total of 110 Gallons of fuel, new 40 gallon freash water tank, presure pump, and a new 40 gallon waste water tank with a maserating head. Plus a new 40 AMP Truecharger for the engine and house batteries. Very impressive original gauges all work and each one lights up with navigation lights, a digital depth sounder, search light with joy stick, VHF radio and original compass, and a new AM/FM CD player. The aft deck is enormous, perfect for entertaining while underway or at port. Original helm seat has been re-upholstered in an off white, soft canvas with new stuffing, VERY SOFT. Helm is located on the port side. There is white canvas across the back of the helm to close in the helm area from weather. There are no rips or tears whatsoever and does not leak. Down below to her port is a very large head for a boat, toilet with maserator, new sink with new faucet, large counter top with new laminate and mahogany edges and plenty of storage. To her starboard side is the galley, new sink, new fridge, microwave and plenty of storage space. Forward of the galley is a large couch that flips up to a bunk. On the port side is a huge dinette table that has new laminite and mahognay edges that folds into a double bed. On the aft wall there is a 15" LCD HDTV and DVD player surounded by a custom cabinet. The cabin is also wired for cable or Directv. The old glass bulb AC electrical panels have been replaced with breaker panels and are now located under the staircase for easy access. Her forward cabin is an amazing size, it is a private cabin with a door and two large closets, one that holds the 12,000 btu Marine Air AC with vents in v-berth and main cabin. Plus all of the bedding comes as show in picture. The whole interior has been re-done in 2006 and is in amazing shape (A MUST SEE). There are new windows in the main cabin with tinted glass (to keep the inside nice and cool) and all windows have new mini blinds. The forward windows have white custom curtins. A very roomy boat for a couple or family. Plenty of storage throughout. Exterior is very presentable. I have had many compliments on the water and in the marinas. Taff rails around aft deck were stripped to bare wood last year and refinished. All teak decks have been stripped to bare wood and refinished (Lots of compliments). The hull was painted in 2006 with the blue strip added, plus CCC arrows. The upper lounge sun deck has new white canvas and is a wonderful place to get a tan. Only the fourth owner and it shows. A truly looked after boat, a piece of history, and a real head turner on the water or at dock. I have to say I am very proud to pull into port with her. It is nice to talk to other boaters who just gawk and stare, have had many complimnts and pictures taken of her. I will be very sad to see her go, but I am looking for a larger vessel. Whoever gets posession of her is getting one heck of a vessel. Questions Please Feel Free To Call (989) 631-5871 or (989) 708-9382This Boat has been Sold
