Further Comments
The Boat needs major restoration. It has been sitting for 20 years. It may only be worth for salvage parts. The boat is all there, just very weathered. The engine is a 4 cylinder hercules, that should be in very good condition. The engine was salt water cooled, but had a check valve in the intake to keep it wet. It was always winterized with antifreeze. The engine had been recently been built up from a block used in a forklift. There is the head, and stove, that were original with the boat.
The canvas, and gear are all in separate storage. The trailer was basically for local hauling, and not road worthy. The boat sits on an attached cradle. My father owns this boat, he is 86 years old, and the thing just takes up space in the yard. If someone wants to bring this boat bake to life, or if someone has a restoration under way, there is a lot here to work with.
