Further Comments

She is a 1 of a kind, 113 yr old vessel. She is sound considering her age and being moored outside and there is some superficial rot on the retrofitted upper cabin overhead. She would probably need to have the 12V wiring system reworked and the bottom preped and repainted, only because it's been about 4 years since done last. Being outside like she is, right now she needs a bit of a pressure wash to get rid of the pollen film etc. There is a bit of rot on the overhead roof deck in the rear and at the front. She was built in 1895 on the Mississippi Gulf Coast in Hanesboro, at the Matteo Marinolich Shipbuilding Company. The hull is made of cypress and she has a 1 1/2 steel keel so she could run up on the bank to deliver mail etc. She has a "V" berth inside, portable potty, 5 gallon water tank, mini sink and the berth cushions need new innards. The fuel tank has been thoroughly drained but needs a more throrough purging or replaced altogether. Rignt now, we would have to rig up an external makeshift tank hooked to the (new) fuel pump to get her started.... she will probably need an electrical rewiring and new guages (3) only because they look a bit tired. All wiring systems are fully accessable. The motor is a 2 cylinder, 25hp Ducatti diesel. She is 33ft long and has an 20" draft.
