Further Comments
This 1947 Lakefield is in museum quality with it's original 1947 coat of varnish and original canvas tonneau cover. The articulating linseed oiled floorboards are original. The 1958 Johnson 18hp is also in museum condition with it's original finish. Runs like a top. Neither the boat or motor has seen the water more than 10 times. The water transfer decals on the boat and motor are original. I have it's history and provenance info. Last shown (photos) at the Manotick Classic Boat Club Show where I was advised the only better example of this type of boat in existence is in the Clayton Wood Boat Museum. Probably the best example of it's type left in the world outside a museum. Own a historic treasure.
