Further Comments
Used for commercial fishing in the waters around Hatteras Island. Has been sitting on the trailor since 2005. North Carolina's state boat. Less than 50 still in existance today but most are in very rought shape. Most all of the museums around here have had a shad boat restored and are on display in the museums. The boat needs some love but I am very confident that she will run with a little work. This boat has a lot of history on the Outer Banks. Not sure who the builder was but the style looks to be Roanoke Island/Manns Harbor area.
