**SOLD**. Very well cared for 1966 44' Pacemaker FDMY with original, all mahogany interior. Nice wide beam (14') coupled with a round bilged hull design allow for a sea kindly vessel with lots of room below decks. General Layout: Aft Deck: Extended hardtop with port side console, chart table, forward storage locker, and wetbar aft of helm seat. Wet bar has sink with running water, bottle storage above and 2 lockers below. All can be locked. Electronics are helm and overhead mounted. Aft deck is very roomy and a great social area on the boat. Access to swim platform is aft starboard corner of deck via boarding ladder. Port and starboard boarding access on aft deck completes the arrangement. Forward Deck: Built-in double bench seats with new cushions 2011, storage below for electrical cord, dual fender baskets and Danforth anchor on chocks, deck cleats and forward flag staff. Deck is glass over marine plywood finished in semi-gloss white. Nice toe rails finished bright with a natural mahogany finish. Mahogany capped handrails along side of boat also finished bright. Woodwork refinished and varnished 2011. Main Saloon: Large and bright saloon with newly carpeted flooring, beautiful original mahogany finish on bulkheads and nice headliner with overhead lighting (12V & 110V). Bamboo loveseat and two armchairs fit comfortably in this area with lots of room to move through compartment. Electrical panel access to starboard with additional storage on each side of saloon. Crusair unit keeps the salon nice and cool during the summer. Windows rebuilt eliminating those nagging leaks that are common on all boats. Aft Cabin: Aft of the saloon and down 3 steps is the full beam aft cabin with newly carpeted flooring and another Crusair unit. Cabin features queen berth to port with a chest of drawrs below, single berth to starboard. Two large, double hanging lockers, a full chest of drawers, and vanity provide for storage of all the gear needed for extended cruising. Aft cabin also has a private head with full shower enclosure and additional storage. Headliner and mahogany finish are flawless. Galley: Forward of saloon is the galley and dinette with new upolstry 2011. Galley includes double stainless sink with hardwood cutting board cover, princess stove with oven and full sized refrigerator-all in excellent working order. Galley also has factory original breadbox, cutlery cabinet and forward storage compartments below forward windows. Plenty of cupboards above stove and fridge and below sinks. Engine room access through a hatch from the galley-no disturbing your saloon furniture! Forward Stateroom: Forward of galley and down three steps is the forward stateroom with newly carpeted flooring and another Crusair unit. V-berth bunks, double hanging locker, chest of drawers and full head with shower. All original mahogany finish in flawless condition including headliner. Overhead is a nice sized hatch with screen to provide for plenty of ventilation. Additional ventilation provided through the 6 opening portlights within cabin. Hull: Single planked (mahogany on white oak frames) carvel construction with round bilge made famous by Matthews and Pacemaker. Exceptionally strong and in excellent condition. No rot to be found. New rubrails starboard side 2009, port side 2011. Bottom stripped, re-caulked, primed and painted in 2009. Exterior brightwork stripped, stained and varnished 2011 including entire helm area. New mahogany toe rails around aft deck, mahogany number boards and mahogany name boards add to the detail of this boat. Full beam teak swim platform with swim ladder and boarding ladder. Running Gear: Twin GM427's with Velvet Drive reduction gears. Both gears rebuilt 2009. Carbs rebuilt 2008, along with both electronic distributors. New wires and plugs in 2009. New fuel filtration system (spin on cartridges) installed in 2009 with new fuel lines and shut off valves. Can run from both tanks or individual tanks to both engines. Electric fuel pumps 2012. Onan generator tuned 2011 and new fuel line from main tanks installed. Electronics: Older model Raytheon radar and Apelco colour depth sounder in excellent working order. Engine synchronizer, original factory compass and newer model Uniden marine VHF radio.
