Further Comments

1962 Skee-craft vintage classic boat with volvo v4 in great condition. Must see. Valued at between $10-12k. Don't want to part with it, but wife is insisting I sell it to pay bills. Make me an offer. 18 Ft cabin cruiser with folding Fly Bridge and canvas. Skee-Craft is a highly sought after collectors brand. Skee-Craft was an Amish company in Intercourse, PA and their boats are known for durability and eagerness in rough conditions. Their boats were individually fashioned by skilled boat builders and this one is extremely rare (runabouts without a cabin are more common). These boats were hand sanded, made of select white oak, finest mahogany and marine plywoods. The Deck and seats are all mahogany and will impress any guests-- it will turn heads, whether on the water or pulling it down the road. Made with finest quality marine hardware. Lapstake construction with mahogany decks and cabin. V birth, sink and head. Fully restored. New 12 volt battery in 2010. Price includes trailer. Total weight is 4160 pounds. Acquired from family of original owner. Have original sales brochure. This boat has always been stored indoors, well maintained and operated in fresh water; winterized in the winters. It is sound, seaworthy and a show winner. The Volvo Penta engine, model AQ-145, is a 145 hp inboard/outboard motor. It was new in 1984 with a complete rebuild in 2002 with 140 hours on the rebuilt and runs excellent. Motor fires right up. It can cruise at 28 knots for a range of 50 nautical miles on a 15 gallon tank of regular gas. It has a clean roomy interior with cabin (sleeping room, bathroom & small kitchen for romantic overnight stays on the water) and a full mooring cover. Exterior and interior are in great condition. Comes with Garmin GPS, analog & digital Depth Sounder, navigation lights, search light, fire extinguisher, compass, knot meter and book of service maintenance records (logbook) and operators manual. Stored indoors in Martell, NE (just south of Lincoln). 402-794-4346, ask for Dan
