Further Comments

One of a kind, all wood replica of a mid-1800's English Canal boat. It has many very unique features that will not be found on any other boat. It was constructed in 2011 by an experienced boat builder for his own use. All new materials. Northern white cedar on oak, with aeromatic red cedar interior. Marine plywood cabin. V-bunks, 2 burner gas stove, porta-potti, sink, LP/12V/110V refrigerator. 20hp Yamaha enclosed to look like an inboard. Tiller/Rudder steering from the stern, like the original English Canal Boats. Cabin roof raises two feet which gives six feet of headroom inside the cabin. Bimini top over cockpit. This boat has drawn a crowd wherever it has been, which includes the Erie and Rideau Canals and two boat shows. Three trips have been taken on it, which involved more than 550 miles of canal travel and more than 15 days of living on the boat. If you are looking for something way out of the ordinary, this may be the boat for you.
