ONE OF A KIND

The hull was built by Gerard Longtin and has the attributes of a high speed offshore type vessel similar to the Ray Hunt designs used for ocean racing.  The gentleman passed away before completion of the boat and left a line drawing of the design he had in mind.  The cabin and decks were completed in 1986 by Andress Boat Works in Rockport, Ontario.

The hull is constructed of two ¼” layers of moulded mahogany plywood outer skin using an epoxied saturation technique and no mechanical fasteners.  The decks and interior lining are made from solid mahogany lumber.

It has a modified vee hull configuration with a small cuddy cabin forward and seating for 4 people.  It is powered by a 5.9 L Chrysler V8, 275 HP inboard gas engine with a single downdraft carburetor and flame arrestor.

The instrument panel is comprised of a tachometer, temperature, oil pressure, volt, speedometer and fuel gauges.  It has a custom wood steering wheel and the shifter is a single lever with controls for the trim tabs.

This boat has always been sheltered since ownership and in storage for the past 12 years.  It was fired up late last summer and winterized for the season.
