LINESIDES is a 1972 30' Mackenzie Cuttyhunk bass boat, hull #19 of 25 or so built. The last Mackenzie ever built was in 1973 so LINESIDES is one of the last. She is a trunk cabin model offering standing headroom below, and was the first built with a helm deck and NO engine box. She also features dual stations with an aft tiller and controls as well as a helm station to starboard at the windshield. The aft controls allow single handed fishing and overall ease of operation at slow speeds. LINESIDES also features a single gas inboard engine with full keel offering maximum protection of the running gear. All of the extensive work performed by her present owner has been done in keeping with proper and proven methods, with respect for originality. LINESIDES is most likely one of the finest original and "unmolested" examples of the legendary Mackenzie bass boat in existence today.
Her current owner is a co-founder and current historian of the Mackenzie Boat Club. All original paperwork, builder correspondence, surveys and photographs taken during her construction from day one are available.
Perhaps it is time for you to own a piece of history as well as a handsome, able vessel which offers a most seaworthy and comfortable ride at speed. Please call us today for your inspection, and thank you for your interest.
