1971 Grand Banks, hull #227. Extensive upgrades and repairs done in last 10 years, some of which includes new stainless fuel tanks, 50 gallon holding tank, vacu flush heads, granite counter tops and stainless steel sinks, rot repair, teak work, paint, powder coated aluminum mast with remote control winches for launching the 2009 center console APEX dinghy with 9.8 hp electric start Nissan 4 stroke motor. This boat is a veteran having traveled from San Diego to Alaska.
The 1971 Onan generator has been replaced with a 1979 Onan 7.5 KW. The original electric stove/oven has been replaced with a Seaward Princess 3-burner propane stove/oven.
The navigation system is older but works perfectly; Raymarine 4kw radar,
Raymarine C-80 chart plotter and depth sounder,
Simrad AP20 Auto Pilot with remote, Standard Horizon Loud Hailer.

For those long cruises, the boat is equipped with both a U Line 120 v refrigerator and a Sub Zero 120 v freezer. For those cold mornings, fire up the Hurricane 4 zone diesel furnace.
The fresh water cooled naturally aspirated 120 Ford Lehman engines have approx. 2250 hours on them. Transmissions are Borg Warner Velvet Drive.

The 3 blade props have been replaced with Bronze 4 blade, 23" props.
Water tanks are stainless, one port one starboard, 240 gallons total.
Ground tackle comprised of approx. 180 feet of 3/8" chain with back up retrieval system lines and buoy, 68 lb. CQR anchor, stern tie line on reel.Many spare parts
