Further Comments

Beautiful and original 1957 Mariner. My grandfather purchased this boat from the factory in July of  '58. It was on a lake in MN for many years, then with an uncle to British Columbia for a few years, down to Miami with my father, then I shipped it to Montana and had it restored. I have all the original receipts, paperwork, brochures and literature about the boat and its story. Restoration by Doug Tewto in Bigfork, MT a true artist. The pictures tell the story of how the boat looks. I also have many pictures following every step of the restoration I can share. I also had a custom cover made and it's been kept in the garage and under the cover since restoration. The engine runs well. The prop turns a little when it's in idle so the shaft just needs to be re-packed. I suspect it could use a tune-up but it isn't essential as it fires right up and ready to hit the water. This is a very cool boat. For seriously interested buyers I'm happy to email copies of all the original paperwork and literature that came with the boat at the time of purchase, additional pictures before, during and through the restoration, etc. It's a fantastic boat but I don't have room for it so it should go to someone who appreciates the history and the workmanship.
