Further Comments

This classic 1972 C&C 25 sloop with Mercury 9.8 outboard power is located in Stamford CT and waiting for an ambitious handyman to put her back into Bristol condition. The C&C 25 is a popular family sailor, an easy sailing sloop rigged with a double foil head stay and spinnaker gear. This C&C 25 has been moored in Stamford these past several years while the owner lived in Florida. Very little attention has been paid to her until just recently. The running rigging needs to be entirely replaced. The deck stepped mast and standing rigging appear to be in good shape. Fortunately the excellent inventory sails have been properly stored below and appear to be in good shape. The hull and decks are in reasonable shape. Deck hardware, fittings, winches, Jib tracks, travelers etc. appear to be in serviceable condition. The 9.8 hp Mercury appears to be of newer vintage than the boat and is likely in good condition. Below is the traditional C&C 25 layout with a large forepeak double bunk with full mattress. Immediately aft to port is the manual marine head while to starboard is a large hanging locker. The salon has the traditional bench berths with a fixed table, aft on either side of the companionway are the galley and navigation areas. This is an outstanding opportunity to get into a trim family weekender at a minimal cost and a little additional investment. http://ruddersandmoorings.com/boat-inventory/?rPage=/privatelabel/listing/pl_boat_detail_handler.jsp?slim=pp288646&units=Feet&boat_id=2387614&primary_photo_id=0&primary_photo_url=http%3A%2F%2Fnewimages.yachtworld.com%2Fresize%2F1%2F56%2F3%2F3695603_3_20110821125711_0_0.jpg&back=%2Fprivatelabel%2Flisting%2Fcache%2Fpl_search_results.jsp%3Fslim%3Dpp288646%26type%3DOther&searchtype=buy see this on our site.
