Planks are offset and bronze fastened from the interior as well as bronze fastened from the exterior through both layers into the frames with #14 X 2" screws. The white oak frames vary at different stations but, on average forward frames measure 1.75" wide X 2" deep; while amidships and aft frames are laminated white oak and measure 1.38" wide x 1.5" deep. All planks and frames sighted were found to be sound and secure. There is a new plank repair on the starboard side, amidships, in the region of the depth transducer. This is very well done. The vessel was re-fastened about 15 years ago by Paul E. Luke, Inc. boatyard in East Boothbay, Maine, the original builders.
